Snowy Heartland

Falling gently. Drifting and dancing whilst singing songs of peaceful rest to dazzle as you weave your way to earth's soft floor. I see you laughing and know the world will right itself again simply because you are near. Life is purer with you about.  And warmer, despite the obvious flaw in that line of thinking. Or perhaps it is my heart heating at the very sight of you, the feel of your gentle softness upon my lashes and cheeks. Indeed, I may never know the secrets of the universe, but I have discovered the hidden truths of first snowfalls and solitary moonlit walks.
